PREJUDICE -
CROSSING THAT BARRIER
Today’s capitalist and cosmopolitan metropolis have their own walls created by distances between people. These invisible barriers are constructed by society and commonly acknowledged yet undefined. Formed through unvoiced biases and people’s socioeconomic status, these boundaries separate people and block the communication. A subtle prison-like door called ‘Pregiudizio’, made with neon LED wire, laser lights and smoke, serves as a portrayal of how facile it is to break the barriers and walk through the fog: the illusion of having concrete limits between people. The objective is to alter people’s perception of undestroyable barriers by passing the door of prejudice.
